I feel for Tang Ningyu and Mu Shaoran. Sometimes you meet people that you want to establish a close friendship with but it’s just not possible because the other person isn’t open to that and you don’t have a choice but to accept it. Maybe this is the best thing they could do, help fight (one or two of) the remaining Lords and grow stronger. They’re still young. Maybe by going through this with Ling Lan and her friends, they could eventually be considered as allies if not friends.
Do you think that sense Ling Lan is no longer cutting herself off emotionally she will be able to accept Tang Ningyu & Mu Chaoran as friends? I never understood why she rejected them in the first place. People who make friends at a bar lie constantly. "I am better then what I am." Is the main lie. & This does not happen only at bars. This happens when adults try to make friends with each other.
