I saw that coming the author finds a way for him not to level up! it's kinda annoying

Although the Author keeps proclaiming about how their XP rate is faster then others it doesn't offset the amount of time they waste wandering from place to place so often. It has been about 14 hours since the game launched and experienced players are already reaching level three, Guilds are already hoarding bronze tier loot and Hackers have probably datamined the entire server. What is our hero TRULY accomplishing by running about killing himself for some drops that will be outclassed in a weeks time?
