Why’s this dragging on for so long?? Where’s our mc?

Fairly obvious when it kept mentioning cracks that Silver Armor's strongest form was when he no longer had his armor. Also still going and no word from our Main Character. It is almost like we are reading a completely different novel for over 10 chapters.

I am guessing Silver Armour used his Armor as a container for his flames now that its gone he is going to light Nine Gloom up like 5 alarm
