Hmm... I like the MC's knife edge decision to just reveal everything to Mo Ting. Chances are if she hides anything and he gets suspicious, she'd get buried anyway, might as well go on the up and up and at least clear up the playing field. (arguably, this makes even more sense with Mo Ting apparently disliking models who play mind games, but... I doubt Tangning knows anything about that.) Looks like the author is setting up soul mates i guess? looks like these two were made for each other. .... Which begs the question, how did she fall for that scumbag to begin with? Its kinda overdoing it to call her clever lol She was still planning to marry the cartoon villain guy even after he had mistreated her for years and ruined her career and cheated on her with another woman And then she just signed herself off to marry some random, which is an INSANELY risky move for a woman in china, where its not illegal to rape your wife So smart is not what i would use to describe her
