SweetKeiry is right, but Schweinehund is also not an offensive insult. Concerning this word, we Germans have a saying that goes "den inneren Schweinehund überwinden". This basically means "to overcome one's weaker self" whereas weaker self can be seen as laziness, fears and so on. So you see, it's not an offensive insult in our tongue but more used in a saying to convince someone to become a better version of oneself. Oh, right, I read that it is indeed used as insult if it stands alone but reality is that, in Germany, not many use this as insult. We instead use the German word for "bastard" which is basically the same as in English. And you can indeed use "Schweinhund" without the E after the first N, it is allowed but this spelling is extremly uncommon in Germany itself.
