This is getting ridiculous. Part of being a good translator is about translating the ideas and not solely the words. And why the **** would you start changing the terms 500 chapters in. I can somewhat understand for Jade Skin because there is a justification and it make sense for the story but changing God's Sanctuary to shelter is a **** change that is more misleading than anything. Changing gangs to army is also misleading. And changing Dollar to Coin is ridiculous and unneeded. I understand that you want to strive to be closer to the author original meaning but keeping the term consistent during the novel should be done. Also translation notes exist for a reason.

I need to address this quick, since I didn't expect a mass release so soon: Concerning the name 'Coin' mentioned by Yi Dong Mu: 金币 In the source text, this is what is most commonly used to refer to Han Sen's alias you have all come to know as 'Dollar'. The initial translation was incorrect, and it actually translates to 'Coin' and not 'Dollar'. It refers to the gold circular coins of yore. In light of being the new translator, it was opted that I be more authentic and true to the original novel, and so from henceforth, Dollar will become Coin. But don't worry, Coin will have as much cool savagery as Dollar ever did... but even better. There is a lot more of Coin to see in the future, and the name change won't hamper any of that.

"gave the rest to the angels" I tried to MTL this novel and when I got to the chapter about the angel I was unsure if HS got one or multiple angels. This translation is now giving me MTL vibes....

After 500+ chapters, a consistent translation is more important than a "more accurate" one. Or, at the very least, include a translator's note explaining why you think the change is necessary. I get the feeling the series got a new translator, and the new guy didn't bother to review his predecessor's work.
