M1911A1 is a semi automatic pistol reading they wrote it as a shotgun just shows the inexperience and lack of attention to detail from the author. Pretty much I get the feeling he is throwing stuff together just to carry along the story. The problem is this: the MC is supposed to be borderline OCD about details and information. Makes me question if the author cared about details or the readers because having a detail oriented novel with blatant disregard of details is an insult to the genre and the readers.
I think the 5% average fear value is either a fail from author or translator, I'd rather say Author since translation quality has been pretty good so far so I take translator just did his job perfectly and translated what the author wrote, mistake and fail included. As for the shotgun I don't know, either author made no effort to research about weapons (but since he got M1911 name correct, I doubt it) Or either there was a mistake in the word used, maybe he wanted to say just "gun" but it transformed to "shotgun" because reasons Edit : I made my search and in chinese : - 枪 (qiāng) : gun - 滑枪 (huá qiāng) : pistol - 滑膛枪 (huátáng qiāng) : shotgun The diference is you only need to add one character to the chinese word "pistol" to obtain the word "shotgun" and since chinese rely a lot on automated writing since they don't have enough key for all their characters on the keyboard I guess this is where the mistake come from. But maybe I'm wrong.
I’m extremely disappointed in this title. And this thing is going to follow him the rest of the novel? This doesn’t even have anything to do with his personality, simply something he managed to pull off. Level 10 is way to early for the system to assess a person, but even if it is, the author should’ve given a title that had to do with his 0% fear value. Such a disappointment.
Now the title changes every time you finish a scenario? The author clearly stated earlier on that your title will stick with you for people to remember you by. Although this is breaking what he said earlier, I’m much happier with this, as it allows I title to develop into something to do with being either crazy/fearless/mad.
