Still ,during the time of the fate war , Spectral Soul really is of much lower threat unless we're talking a timeline where he isn't captured and revived . . Ultimately , given how Qing Chou turned into a giant Knight with rank 9 hatred and Genesis lotus's help , if he merged with the number 1 city .. he really would turn into a giant soul Gundam !

How were the venerables manipulating Fang Yuan from the past? It’s been implied that Fate gu made time stable enough that the future could be observed through the river of time, however how did the venerables know about Fang Yuan’s actions? The inkblot effect doesn’t activate until Fang Yuan travels so only his first life should be visible to them, right? Also, these plans are so indirect they must have involved fate right? But fate has no effect on Fang Yuan. There’s definitely something extra that only venerables can access. The methods we know for seeing the future shouldnt be enough even for rank 9 venerables. Also, are we going to get more insight into thieving heaven? He wanted to leave this world more than anything, and failing that wanted to help a future otherworldly demon return home. Maybe he chose to protect Fang Yuan?

I swear, if the Venerables end up also having been manipulated by some greater power, the least I can do is curse the author out for having such a brilliant mind.

So the history of the entire human race is basically the history of Venerables and their methods one upping each other.

This story complex more than I think. Nice plot !!!

Also why did FY even GO to western desert anyway. For the THDV's dream realm and then he flew over green Ghost desert and saved fang yun, and fang leng and contacted fang clan.

A bit too much time wasted on flashbacks in this chapter imo, hopefully the next ch will justify it
