How the FUCK. I did NOT expect this story to escalate once more. This is even further than the conflict of venerables and has gone into the ultimate realm of 'man against heaven'... scratch that, it is postcelestial vs precelestial, the way THG and ED would put it. The grand conflict between the everchanging trend of the universe and the will for constancy, the will of eternity against the natural law for death, it is conflict of one's will against the will of heaven. Primordial hope, the dao of heaven guides ancient qi into mans first salvation, deficit of the world, surplus of humanity. The rise of wisdom, the will of humanity into the ultimate sacrifice to restrain fate against the will of heaven which it itself represents. The rage of law, who stood dissatisfied and understanding futility, an eternal bet and chess game against the star of wisdom since time past. The rampage of strength, who stood invincible, yet ultimately powerless against the sacred court. A red lotus bloomed in the river of time, pit against its own fate, helpless and desperate- wanting to betray no one and save others - ultimately only able to let its roots soar to the future, protecting seeds across time in it's final cry against fate.

I knew it. Heaven's will had already abandoned humanity after letting it prosper, and Star Constellation's merging with Heaven's will was to ensure that their Heavenly Court would be able to influence fate to their advantage. But then I wonder, was Fang Yuan being chosen as Heavenly Court's pawn really just encompassing being a foil for Spectral Soul and Shadow Sect, or was it actually to the extent that it is to prevent Dragonmen's rise and humanity's fall? Was him getting here still a part of Star Constellation's plans? Was it really random that Wisdom Gu decided to go with him?

It's incredible, stupendous to a jaw-dropping point, completely heart-stoppingly astonishing, how annoying fate is.

And lel it kinda got buried under all the stuff about fate, but did Red Lotus just say he rebirthed TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TIMES? How the hell did he die in the end lol by choking on his own bread? He's gotta have had some ultra god shiet tier luck that would make FY's unlucky encounters look like bright sun and marshmallows.

How does Star Constellation's will renew itself? Even with Rank 9 power it should (probably) be consumed over time. Her grip on it could be fading. Also I wonder if Purple connecting to HW disrupted SC's influence.

I feel that some other venerable methods will start to activate soon. Hopefully fate gu will at least get injured again or end up with some new force to upend the status quo even more

Hmm remember that dream realm FY was in once...the one with the dragonman with the small dong, where all the dragonmen suddenly imploded at the end? If that was based on reality it kind of makes sense now if it was Duke Long and his own way of "going against fate" kinda ironic rly lel.

i hate reverend insanity because everytime they add a new chapter you have to rethink about what Fang Yuan will change with Spring Autumn Cicada but then the arc ends with him never using it AAAAAAAAaAAaaaaaa
