All the Venerables had inborn luck? This proves that Fang Yuan won't be a Venerable. He'll be a f*cking Reverend!!
Interesting, so Feng Jiu Ge luck are different than Fang Yuan luck. And Venerable & their dao guardian have a naturally high luck due to destined luck. While other people luck comes from Immortal gu, power, position etc, the stronger you are the higher the natural luck was like most rank 8, since they are peak of the world.
So with this chapter a question has been brought to my mind: What is the relationship between Heaven's Will (HW) and Fate Gu? If HW is all about balancing all things then doesn't Fate kind of work against that? We saw here that HW tried to stop Venerable Red Lotus from being born, but was prevented from doing that because of Fate. So wouldn't HW want Fate to be destroyed, or better weakened to keep things in check? Also if tribulations are HW's method of removing and redistribution, how does that work with the Heavenly Court? They seem to pawns of Fate's game instead of Heaven Will's. Especially since the Heavenly Court seems to be a mass of power and resources .
Damn, getting these Stein's Gate/Re:Zero/Butterfly Effect chills again, most likely that is what may have happened -- Red Lotus trying over and over to make things right, but still having fate correct the things he did or worse lead to even more tragedies. Until he came to the final realization that unless Fate Gu is removed from the picture, he wouldn't be able to do a damn thing to change the past. And the only thing he could accomplish was only injure Fate Gu, because he probably ran out of that destined luck he was born with eventually and could no longer revive with SAC.
This reminds me that they said venerables are given humanity luck so when they are born but sometimes it's concealed so how did that exactly work for thieving heaven. His soul came from another world so he couldn't have been given humanity blessing then did the original body had it? But if it did it wouldn't be so unlucky to have an otherworldly demon take over. Wierd. Or maybe he just stole other human's luck?
trace of shock flashed past Duke Long's eyes as he thought: "This destined luck condensed into a birthmark, imprinted on his forehead, this phenomenon has not been seen in any venerable before. Meanwhile reckless Savage : Who needs a lame red Lotus tattoo when you can have so many moving beast tattoos. Look at these baby
no wonder heaven and earth cannot tolerate him and sent down calamities and tribulations to eliminate him. Wait a second Didn't this mean that venerables aren't fated to be venerables but they have so much human blessing or fortune that they could break the heavenly dao barrier because if RL was fated why would HW seems calamities and tribulations in his birth? Seems very interesting to me. Likely humans became dominant so their species luck have birth to venerables.
