Yes, I after all these year that Elder is able to see through certain matters. But like many others of different novels they kept assuming that the Mc will limited by his talent. They never saw though what a human being with a strong is really capable of because they too used too what normally see in all their years.

I just got here from reading King of Gods and I have to say, compared to the former, this novel has great side characters with reasonable intelligence based on age

This novel reminded me of Leylin. Leylin is as cruel and cunning as Fang Yuan. Liked it, Id rather read about neutral evil characters than those ones who save everyone on impossible conditions
