Well, this ending seems weird for me. I mean, after all this novel started with romance, and almost all the time author tried to developed the romance, but he ended up just like this? Cmon man, at least give some epilogue to their relationship, their wedding or some time skip where they have a children. Overall its a good story, but as someone who enjoy thr romance of this story, this ending kinda disappointing for me.
I thank the author and translator for their work to bring this amazing story to life where we saw the ups and downs of a really like able and awesome main character set with interesting side characters The story was both action filled funny and romantic which made it impossible to stop reading once I started it So let me be extremely selfish and direct this wish to the author to write a sequel when the next story that is currently in work is finished
What a weird ending, for a chinese novel anyways. The main character's idol brokethrough to the last stage and not him. And most weird of all was I can't remember one 'young master courts death' scene. Yes there were enemies, but they didn't try to kill him on the basis of the status their father gave them. So all in all I'm disappointed that we aren't shown if (well I don't think it's if) he makes the breakthrough and 2nd most important is that we aren't shown their marriage. But I think it's good as it is. Every other chinese novel I've read is about murderhobo mc's (unless they have a system and open a shop in a cultivation worldđ) so I'm happy that the author didn't go that route after 700 chapters. Oh yes and he's a nice and relatable mc, quite rare lol.
This novel is unique and excellent work. The fight scenes so exciting and excellent beyond my initial expect despite it's sport-theme fight. There's also things I frustrated too like how author kick female lead to America at half of novel and drag her returning until the end of novel which make good romantic atmosphere he make effort to build up early mostly gone. Because of that we didn't even get their proper marriage scenes. I feel it would be better if she return early. I want to see their slice of life after marriage, see how she supports him in his career, see how she encourages him in every fights, see how good business management she do after finished study with those scholars, see how he gonna established Universe Sect and accept disciples, see daily life with their child. With how good romantic atmosphere author build up early I feel it's kinda incomplete in romance aspects without these. The end feel really rush. There're still some loose ends that author foreshadowed early but not use like Pharaoh and Apostle that Sin Flame guy spoke of, they sounds like some last boss characters. Witch King's conspiracy never uncovered. Forbidden Area expert who harmed his master never reveal. We also didn't see him achieved Forbidden Area apek of this martial art world. Oh right, I also wonder what title he gonna used at the end? Is it really God of Kings? đđđ¤đđ¤¨đ
Such a wholesome novel. it had everything a reader (male mc version) needs. action, growth, crush, love, pain, disappointments, perseverance, goals, triumph. the major point of attraction for me in this novel is the slice of life elements than the battle abilities/cultivation parts . i wish many people to read this and feel how fulfilling doing that was, like how I feel now. great job author đ thank you translator for bringing this gem to us and perfectly conveyed the meanings in a way which english readers to understand. hats off to both of you
