Angry Squirrel
To be honest I always liked Elisa's character, funny dialogues with Roland in the first arc, and her bitter development in the story, while she gets stronger she doesn't necessarily become happier, only growing distant and losing the one she wants to be with. Her situation as a novel love interest isn't something you see often. I'm sad that things reach this point, but at the other side it is satisfying to have this subplot that exists since the beginning of the story getting it's conclusion.
Rather than Roland, it seems to me that Elisa is the one is the one doesn’t understand other people’s hearts. For having known Roland as long as she has, she knows remarkably little about him. Either that, or she has managed to fall so far into her own delusions that reality no longer matters to her.
Elisa dares to speak about people's heart? Look at what she did to Roland, Is acting as selfishly as possible understanding others heart? Roland should just get over his sadness and break through. After all his "heart" had better desires than Karwens and his allies, also the part about their past was really good.
