Second Eye
There's one thing I am confused about. Blood moon will arrive in 5 years or sooner, ok. In this time Demons have the biggest handicap, need of red mist containers and they can't get far away from their settlements. Why not hit and run them, try different tactics, weapons. It's the best time to do it because demons can't chase them far enough or amass large forces. It's better to lose soldiers in this period and see what works and what is useless than later try to learn the ropes. When divine war comes there won't be time for any kind of experiments. One wrong move and whole army can be defeated, no matter technology advantage and after that it's humanity death as Roland don't have any fallback plans at all. He sets everything to depend on Neverwinter and it's soldiers.
Since blood is important in that process I guess its only natural that blood transfusions and blood storage become more critical. They have all the tools necessary for that task, and the witches capable of ****** it all possible. Im not sure if blood storage will effect the quality of the blood, but theres no harm trying, if they can store demon blood for long periods without the quality declining overtime then that would be beneficial, they might even be able to keep that demon alive longer if they manage to understand the composition of red mist. A living blood bank for their experiments, sounds rather gruesome, but what else can they do, it might even be more humane than the methods theyve been using till now, if they manage to keep the demon alive longer then that would be better in the long run, they can understand that species better, maybe even learn to communicate with it? who knows?
