This book setting in different parallel universe from previous two prequel, that is why there's no record of Rand Empire and there's no legend of Blade Warrior here...

So the story is getting more and more confusing, either I fail to read and interpret text or the author just throws words at the paper hoping the make sense. From what I understand, Rand Empire is from another dimension and somehow ended up here. So he found a suitable emperor to rebuild the Rand Empire in this new dimension? The reason he got weakened during the training is because the cube needs to use his own energy to scan/study this new dimension?

will probably be like :train well, become best pilot marry the crown princes become emparor and change the empires name or jusr solo conquer the world
