Wow Mo Fan (or the author) is an idiot. Other mages can practice for an hour, he practices for two hours due to being a dual cultivator. That means he effectively has a 100% bonus increase. Compared to a common stardust magical tool with 20% or spiritual magical tool with 40%, he far surpasses them. He doesn't even need it but doesn't realise it and is comparing himself to others who have limited time to use them to him with the pendant.
