I don’t know why the comment I made about the studying part doesn’t show up anymore but I will rewrite it : That ain't even how studying abroad works... I know a Chinese student there her family gave her everything they had so she could study here and get a diploma, school don't just hand those over to you if you don't qualify, it lowers their ranking doing so, smh. Tbh everything is in that quote. The direct consequence of working tiring job is because of bad grades. Do I believe exams are biased against students who don't give a sh*t ? Yes I do believe so.

Everyone: get on with the story and not develop and describe the characters and their personalities. Things like the motivation of characters’ actions don’t matter to the story.

Appreciate the effort to translate the story. What was high school but part angst, part curiosty and part opporunity.
