Depending on region or culture they “name” of a sword changes. Such as some swords just being called long blades or long knives after being translated. But their descriptions were mostlikely variations not unlike what we call “car” horseless carriage trucks, suv, sports vehicles…

Even if it was only a mention and probably won't have any real effects, I like that the author said he was heavier because of the genetic energy. It makes this ridiculous sword at least pretend to make sense.
