Alot of people want to play this game but logically speaking this game would go bust because of the skill required to do the most ****** of tasks not to mention the complicated button presses to perform skills ( not a push the button and activate, like classic MMOs) Plus another difference would be the lack of purchasable items to improve game play, there is non and only skill can give you rewards. Think of this as a dark souls game in difficulty but instead of just rolling and back stabbing you have to be agile like Warframe, be highly accurate with a mouse and need to have fast typing skills. The upgrade system is in my favor because it's my kind of leveling system, but while the cap is indeed an issue people will start treating it like destiny grinding for high level equipment or back stabbing other players to gain loot like in Ark survival. This game is good in theory but from a marketing point of view they would never create a game that doesn't have profit. They have this game where skill is required to be good because they have sponsor and a high fan base. The difference is that in their world everyone like that challenge how ever I fell on our time people prefer to find the easy ways out rather then taking the time to actually get good at games.
Some had mentioned the feasibility of Glory as a real game, so I'm going to add several points that were overlooked: FIRST PERSON PERSPECTIVE -In Glory, there are multiple actions of jumps, flips, rolls, etc. For some people, that could get dizzy real quick. Personally, a 3rd Person perspective would be better, or at least offer the option to switch between the two. HIGH SKILL FLOOR -While Glory capitalizing on the "high skill barrier" that is attributed to the game is fine, this could throw off a lot of players in real life, which will result in the game being played by only a select group of players (like Fighting game community). EQUIPMENT CUSTOMIZER -While the feature sounds really good in paper, it really presents a lot of problems in a Game Designer & Developer's standpoint. A preset of options and blueprints to form your equipment is no problem, but to be able to craft and mold it freely based on the player's desire (akin to mods), that's only asking for more bugs and balance issues esp. if not regulated immensely. MATCHMAKING -Either the matching algorithm is mediocre, or there's not much players left to challenge to in the Arena, and I highly doubt it's the latter. You'll see what I mean in the future chapters. Ofc, it would be a complete disservice to not mention that Glory still has its charms, but still most of the features would only fit in a fictional world. That being said... WANT TO PLAY A GAME LIKE GLORY? -I highly recommend DRAGON'S NEST, TERA, and BLACK DESERT ONLINE. While these might not fit every aspect of Glory, it's still the closest thing you can get to a real life Glory. That's all, cheers đș
"An account would be used by two or three people, so the character would be online for 24 hours." Sounds like this is widely known if they have a name for it "wheel tactic" most game companies I know of discourage and even punish people from sharing accounts, I guess this is an American thing? I would think otherwise because people sharing accounts means the company is losing money, and if money has become as big as they let it out to be, (Ye Xiu being forced out for not making money) then I would think that this game would not be a fan either.
