This has happened TWICE now, does the item recalled from a card ‘destroy’ or displace matter that happens to be in its destination? Or is she stabbing with the knife after materialising it? If it’s the second why the fuk isn’t the author writing that?!?! E.g “with a flash of white light, she slams her other hand into the mouth piece” If it’s the first, The knife would appear in the centre of the mouth pole, not stabbing into it. Which means she cannot hold onto the creature by holding the knife with both hands. The authors kinda ruining an interesting ability by not writing very well. Also if it’s the first option, she had no reason to store the knife as she could have just held it normally, thus the author seems to just trying to shoehorn this ability into the fight in any way to make her look strong and capable. While all their accomplished is making the 2 ‘veterans’ look like absolute retards, by not knowing how to fight in anyway or even have common sense. Novels going downhill fast.

So why can’t Luther and Marcia who’ve survived 2 other worlds for over 2 years and is touted as the “king of potential” struggle to kill these early apocalyptic zombie things. I can understand if they were zombies who survived 20 years but these are newly turned ones. Even if his potential really wasn’t that high I would assume he would know how to deal with those after surviving not 1 but 2 apocalyptic worlds. (I forgot how to spell them so I’m calling them zombies)
