10 Trial in Star Dou Forest!
Right now Dai Baihu couldn't help but sigh. He had just finished reading Dai Xingchen's letter.

Zhu Zhuhua had just destroyed one of the luxurious looking furniture in the room.
Zhu Zhuhua then said in a cold tone: "To think one of those old fogies actually dared to send assassins after Xingchen!"
Hearing her words, Dai Baihu's expression also immediately turned cold as he turned to Grandpa Hei and asked: "Are you sure it was one of the Zhu family elders that sent the assassins after my son?"
Grandpa Hei bowed and replied: "It was what one of the assassins stated Your Majesty."
Zhu Zhuhua: "Hmph! I think I have an idea as to who among those old fogies ordered those assassins."
Dai Baihu then nodded and said in a cold tone: "Since that is the case we will immediately make a trip to the Zhu family to discuss this matter."
Although he didn't show it, Dai Baihu was actually already on the brink of exploding with rage due to knowing that assassins were sent after his son. It was literally taking all of his self-control to suppress the raging white tiger inside him.
The Emperor then turned to Grandpa Hei once again and asked: "Are you sure the assassins have been dealt with?"
Grandpa Hei then replied: "Yes your Majesty, I had personally made sure to dispose of their bodies."
In truth since Dai Xingchen didn't seem to wish for other people to know that it was him who killed the assassins, Grandpa Hei decided to tell Dai Baihu and Zhu Zhuhua that it was he who killed them instead. Not to mention there's the fact that Dai Xingchen being able to kill 3 spirit master assassins was also actually quite hard to believe.
Hearing the elderly man's words, Dai Baihu simply nodded and said: "Protector Lao please make quick preparations. You will be accompanying us on our trip to the Zhu family."
Grandpa Hei bowed and said: "Understood Your Majesty!"
Dai Baihu then nodded and said: "You may go."
When Grandpa Hei left, Zhu Zhuhua immediately approached her husband and said in a tone full of guilt: "Husband forgive me. This is all my fault. I didn't think that one of those old fogies would do something like this."
Dai Baihu then hugged his wife and said: "No this isn't your fault. Don't blame yourself for it."
When the husband and wife separated, they then stared at each other with eyes full of seriousness.
Zhu Zhuhua: "We will definitely make the old fogy who sent those assassins after Xingchen pay I promise!"
Dai Baihu then sighed and said: "That's... not it."
Zhu Zhuhua then realized: "You're worried about Xingchen going off to travel on his own?"
Dai Baihu nodded: "Although he is far more intelligent and mature compared to other children his age, he is still only six years old after all. Even though he was also gifted with Superhuman Strength, I still can't help but worry."

As Dai Xingchen was getting up from the ground he muttered: "Damn I couldn't see that last attack."
He then muttered: "It seems my sharingan's predictive capabilities are still not fully mature. Perhaps this is due to my right eye still being at the one tomoe level."
Daisy then appeared by his side and said: "Although you still cannot defeat this spirit king training dummy, it is clear that you are gradually getting used to his speed and movements. As such there is no doubt that you're definitely improving my lord's chosen."
Dai Xingchen then sighed and said: "Yeah... But still I want to be able to somewhat keep up with his speed and movements before the start of the next trial of destiny."
After saying that Dai Xingchen brandished his Zangetsu Blade and charged towards the spirit king training dummy to continue his training.

As the robber was rushing towards the village's entrance, he suddenly saw Dai Xingchen standing still staring at him.
"Kid if you don't wanna get hurt get outta the way!" Shouted the robber towards Dai Xingchen.
However Dai Xingchen did not listen to the robber's words and instead remained standing still.
"Fine kid have it your way!" Said the robber as he took out a stick from his pocket.
Seeing this the guards panicked.
Guard 1: "Oh no he's going to hit that kid!"
Guard 2: "Hurry stop him!"
Guard 3: "Kid hurry move outta the way!"
As the robber was about to swing his stick towards Dai Xingchen, he suddenly saw a pair of red eyes staring back at him.
The robber's body then shuddered for a split second and he suddenly stopped moving as if he had been paralyzed.
Gengutsu: Sharingan!
Guard 1: "He suddenly stopped moving!"
Guard 2: "Quickly grab him!"
Guard 3: "Don't let him hit the kid!"
The guards then quickly tackled the robber to the ground.
"Ugh!.. W-What happened just now?" Muttered the robber as he was now pinned to the ground by the Guards.
As Dai Xingchen began walking away from the scene, he muttered: "Daisy?"
Daisy: "3 Second my lord's chosen."
Dai Xingchen thought: "3 seconds of paralysis... So that's all I can do with my Genjutsu: Sharingan for now huh."

At this moment Dai Xingchen could be seen eating a plate of meat and a bowl of noodles on a small food stall. He then raised his head towards the man running the food stall and asked: "Mister do you know the fastest way for me to get to Heaven Dou Empire from here?"

The man running the food stall then asked: "By the way why are you asking this kid? Are you and your family planning to go to Heaven Dou or something?"
"Ah yes something like that." Replied Dai Xingchen as he continued eating his food.

The next day Dai Xingchen could be seen exiting a room in a cheap looking inn. He had temporarily rented this room for a week, so that he'll have a place to stay until the travelling merchant carriages arrive.
It was at this moment that Daisy spoke: "It is time for your next trial of destiny my lord's chosen."
Hearing her words Dai Xingchen couldn't help but sigh as his eyes turned serious.
He then asked: "By any chance did you manage to get any information regarding this trial of destiny Daisy?"
Daisy: "Only that your birthmark will shine once you encounter your Destined Spirit Beast during the trial my lord's chosen."
Dai Xingchen: "Destined Spirit Beast?"
Daisy: "Ah yes I have not explained that have I? A destined spirit beast is basically a spirit beast personally chosen by the Primordial Pagoda to become your spirit ring my lord's chosen."
Hearing this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but be surprised: "There was actually such a thing? But what if I wish to absorb a spirit beast's spirit ring that's different from the one chosen by the primordial pagoda?"

Daisy: "No clue at all. I'm afraid this is one of the things that this trial will have you figure out yourself my lord's chosen."
Hearing this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but give a forced smile as he muttered: "Of course it is."
It was at this moment that Dai Xingchen suddenly heard some loud beast roars coming from nearby.

Hearing the beast roars Dai Xingchen immediately jumped up towards one of the tree branches of one of the tall trees around him.

Upon landing on the tree branch Dai Xingchen immediately decided to hide himself behind the dense amount of tree leaves. With his current small frame it was quite easy to do so after all.
It was at this moment that Dai Xingchen suddenly saw dozens of spirit beasts that seemed to be running away from something.

Daisy: "They seem to be scared of something my lord's chosen."

It has wide, blunt spikes on its shoulders and gray-silver bands on its arms and legs. Its hands and feet each have three claws. And it has a thick, long, black tail.
Seeing the beast's appearance Dai Xingchen couldn't help but furrow his brow as he thought: "This.... Isn't this Aggron from pokemon?!"
Daisy: "Goodness it's a Steel Tyrant Savage Saurus!"
Dai Xingchen asked: "That's really it's name?"
Daisy: "Yes I am certain that's what it is my lord's chosen."
Dai Xingchen then thought as he turned his head back towards the direction of the Steel Tyrant Savage Saurus: "Could it really be merely a coincidence that this spirit beast looks like Aggron from pokemon in my previous life?"
Rooooar!
It was at this moment that a huge Rhinoceros type spirit beast suddenly charged towards the Steel Tyrant Savage Saurus and BANG!
Forced it back by several steps.
When the Savage Saurus recovered it's balance, it stared at the Rhinoceros type spirit beast with obvious rage in it's eyes. But before it could start it's counter attack....

A large condor type spirit beast suddenly descended down from the skies and struck the Savage Saurus' shoulder knocking it off balance.

The Savage Saurus roared in rage.
Seeing all of this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but mutter: "What the heck is going on?"
Daisy: "They seem to be ganging up on the Savage Saurus my lord's chosen."
Dai Xingchen: "Yeah but why?"
Before the Savage Saurus could fully get up, a large black spider with a dull golden colored carapace suddenly appeared from below him. On it's body was a pattern that almost looks like a human face.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen's pupils shrank as thought: "Man Faced Demon Spider!"
Dai Xingchen then muttered: "Damn to think I'd encounter that thing. I'd better get out of here as soon as possible."
Daisy: "I wouldn't recommend that my lord's chosen. Right now those spirit beasts are preoccupied with fighting the Savage Saurus. If you make any sudden movements now there's a slim chance that at least one of them might notice you. From what I can tell these four spirit beasts are far more powerful than your typical ten thousand years spirit beasts. With your current strength, you cannot afford to attract their attention my lord's chosen."
Hearing this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but bite his lip. He knew Daisy's words were right. Right now those four spirit beasts were too preoccupied with fighting each other that they did not notice him. If he were to make a run for it now, there was a chance that these spirit beasts might notice him. Dai Xingchen truly did not wish for that to happen, especially since one of these spirit beasts is the extremely terrifying Man Faced Demon Spider!

Daisy: "The Man Faced Demon Spider's stealth ability is known for not only being able to conceal both it's figure and it's aura, but also known for being able to hide from spiritual force probes my lord's chosen. Since you had only recently awakened your sharingan, it is no surprise that it's stealth ability can hide from it."
Dai Xingchen thought: "Which is another reason as to why I must avoid it no matter what."
When the Man Faced Demon Spider went into stealth, the rhinoceros type spirit beast also immediately began charging towards the Savage Saurus once again.
However this time the Savage Saurus was ready. The moment the rhinoceros type spirit beast got close enough, the Savage Saurus immediately grabbed it's head and tossed it into the air like it was nothing.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but mutter: "Holy crap this thing's strong!"
The moment the Savage Saurus tossed the rhinoceros type spirit beast into the air, the condor type spirit beast once again descended down towards the Savage Saurus to attack.
Seeing this the Savage Saurus immediately raised it's arms towards the condor type spirit beast. Suddenly spiked metal chains came out of the Savage Saurus' arms which them wrapped around the condor type spirit beast's wings.
"KAAW!" The condor type spirit beast cried in pain. The spikes on the chains seem to have pierced through parts of it's wings.
The Savage Saurus then pulled the condor type spirit beast down towards him using the spiked chains and when it got close enough....
CHOMP!
It bit off one of the condor type spirit beast's wings!
"KAAAAAAAW!!!" The condor type spirit beast cried in agony from its wing being bitten off from it's body!
Seeing this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but mutter: "Damn that was savage."
Bang!
When the rhinoceros type spirit beast landed on the ground, it whimpered in pain for a few seconds then got up and charged towards Savage Saurus once again. But this time it's horn was glowing with bright red light as it charged towards Savage Saurus. Clearly it was using one of it's abilities.
"Roar!" As the Savage Saurus was about finish off the condor type spirit beast, the rhinoceros type spirit beast suddenly slammed it's glowing red horn towards the Savage Saurus' side.
BANG!
The Savage Saurus was once again forced back.
It was at this moment that the Man Faced Demon Spider appeared once again. It suddenly came out of nowhere and jumped on the Savage Saurus' back. The Man Faced Demon Spider then shot out it's web and used it to bind the Savage Saurus' legs as it used it's sharp legs to bind it's arms.
"ROOOAR!!!" The Savage Saurus roared as it couldn't get loose from the Man Faced Demon Spider.
Seeing that the Savage Saurus could not move due to the Man Faced Demon Spider's actions, the rhinoceros type spirit beast immediately rushed towards the Savage Saurus once again.
As for the condor type spirit beast which had been gravely injured by the Savage Saurus, it saw the current situation and opened it's mouth which then released a yellow colored energy beam towards the Savage Saurus.
The Man Faced Demon Spider also took this opportunity to bite down on the Savage Saurus' neck.
"ROOOOOAR!!!" The Savage Saurus roared in pain as it felt the Man Faced Demon Spider's venom enter it's body.
BANG! BANG!
The rhinoceros type spirit beast's glowing red horn and the condor type spirit beast's yellow beam hit the Savage Saurus' body.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen couldn't but think: "Why do those three spirit beasts seem so desperate to kill the Savage Saurus?"
When the smoke cleared the Savage Saurus' body could be seen to have quite a bit of damage to it. Simply put it's body was now covered with cracks and burn marks.
Daisy: "Incredible it actually managed to withstand their combined attacks and still stay standing."
"ROOOOOOAR!!!" By this point the Savage Saurus' eyes were now glowing with silver light as it unleashed a powerful roar that sent the three other spirit beasts flying.
Dai Xingchen also shuddered as he also sensed the sheer amount of pressure released by the Savage Saurus.
Daisy: "With such powerful pressure, I can safely assume that this Steel Tyrant Savage Saurus must've definitely already reached a cultivation age of at least fifty thousand years."
Hearing her words Dai Xingchen couldn't help but give a forced smile. Since his birthmark started flashing when the Savage Saurus appeared, it was most likely his destined spirit beast. Now that he knew it possessed a cultivation age of at least fifty thousand years, he couldn't help but think: "What the hell was the Primordial Pagoda thinking? Does it really expect me to try to kill this Savage Saurus and absorb it's Spirit Ring? Isn't that basically courting death?!"
When the condor and rhinoceros type spirit beasts regained their balance they immediately stared at the Savage Saurus whose body was now covered in a thick silver colored energy.
"ROOOAR!!!" The Savage Saurus then roared once again as it swung it's arms forward. Suddenly dozens of large crescent shaped silver energy blades were shot from it's claws that then rushed towards the two spirit beasts.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Roar! Kaaw!
The two spirit beasts roared and cried as the barrage of silver energy blades tore their bodies to pieces.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but think: "Wow! This Savage Saurus was actually strong enough to kill two ten thousand years spirit beasts all by himself."
Daisy: "It seems the Man Faced Demon Spider had once again gone into stealth."
Hearing Daisy's words, Dai Xingchen immediately realized that the Man Faced Demon Spider had indeed vanished once again.
"Haar.. Haar.. Haar.. Haar.." By this point the Savage Saurus could be seen to seem to be panting in exhaustion. Some parts of it's body also seem to be turning dark purple in color for some reason.
Daisy: "The parts of it's body that had turned dark purple are most likely places in it's body that had been invaded by the Man Faced Demon Spider's poison."
Dai Xingchen thought: "If I were to attack when it's been completely weakened by the Man Faced Demon Spider's poison, will I have hope of beating it?"
It was at this moment that Dai Xingchen saw the Savage Saurus suddenly rush towards a certain direction.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen thought: "Is it leaving?"
However to Dai Xingchen's surprise it didn't leave and instead stopped at a grassy spot then lowered it's head as if checking for something.
It was then that Dai Xingchen noticed that the Savage Saurus seemed to be staring at a beautiful looking flower that was emanating a bit of magenta and black colored lights.
Daisy: "Divine Elegance Virgo Dahlia!"
Dai Xingchen asked: "Daisy what is that? Could it be... an immortal herb?"
Daisy: "Actually it can be considered as a Pseudo Divine Herb my lord's chosen. The fact that one actually exists here in Star Dou Forest was something that I could have never foreseen."
Dai Xingchen: "Based on your reaction it must be quite precious."
Daisy: "Indeed unfortunately you will not be able to gain any benefits from it my lords chosen."
Dai Xingchen: "Really? Why?"
Daisy: "Mainly because it can only benefit those with female physiques. It does not bestow any benefits to males at all my lord's chosen. In fact there's actually a story behind it. And due to this the people decided to simply name the group of stars that she became as Virgo. The legend states that on the anniversary of her husband's death, the Virgo constellation would suddenly shed starlight tears for a few moments.
It was said that if those starlight tears fell on grassy soil, it would bloom into a beautiful flower emanating magenta and black colored lights.... This is the story of the Divine Elegance Virgo Dahlia's origin my lord's chosen."
Hearing Daisy finish her story, Dai Xingchen simply nodded as he continued watching the Savage Saurus stare at the Divine Elegance Virgo Dahlia. After a few moment, the Savage Saurus simply sat beside the flower as if guarding it from anyone that attempts to steal it.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen thought: "Could it be that this flower is the reason why those spirit beasts ganged up on the Savage Saurus?"
Dai Xingchen then asked: "Hey Daisy what would happen if those spirit beasts got their hands on the Divine Elegance Virgo Dahlia?"
Daisy: "Assuming it was consumed by a female spirit beast, then that spirit beast would undergo a metamorphosis that would bestow them a foundation strong enough to allow them to reach the hundred thousand years cultivation level without much problems my lord's chosen."
Hearing this Dai Xingchen nodded and said: "Based on how the Savage Saurus is acting now, it should be safe to assume that he is guarding this flower and that those spirit beasts he fought earlier most likely ganged up on him so that they could steal the Divine Elegance Virgo Lotus for themselves."
Daisy: "That should be a sound assumption my lord's chosen."

An eardrum breaking beast roar was heard.
"Ugh! What kind of spirit beast is coming now?" Said Dai Xingchen as he covered his ears with his hands.
Hearing the beast roar, the Savage Saurus' eyes immediately turned sharp as it quickly stood up and gazed at a certain direction.
Daisy: "Whatever spirit beast is coming, it's approaching at great speed my lord's chosen!"
After a few moments.....
Whoosh!
"ROOOOAR!!!" The spirit beast finally arrived descending down from the skies.
It was a large dragon like spirit beast with green scales and green crystal like wings.
Daisy: "It's an Emerald Wings Wind Drake!"
Seeing the spirit beast's appearance Dai Xingchen couldn't help but say: "It looks really strong."
Daisy: "It is a drake spirit beast that has begun to awaken a sliver of the Wind Dragon King's bloodline my lord's chosen. So yes it is indeed quite strong. Assuming it's female and that it manages to eat the Divine Elegance Virgo Dahlia it should be able to fully awaken the sliver of the Wind Dragon King's bloodline within it's body."
Hearing this Dai Xingchen couldn't help but turn his gaze towards the Steel Tyrant Savage Saurus whose body was already clearly damaged and poisoned.
Dai Xingchen then asked: "How would it fare against the Savage Saurus?"
Daisy: "From the looks of it this Wind Drake's cultivation age seems to only be slightly above twenty thousand years, but due to it possessing a powerful bloodline it's overall power should be more or less equal to an ordinary fifty thousand years spirit beast my lord's chosen. From what we've previously seen, if the Savage Saurus were not injured or poisoned, it should be somewhat stronger than this Wind Drake. However due to it's current state, I'm quite sure it will be overwhelmed by this Wind Drake instead."
"Roar!" The Savage Saurus roared as it continued to stare at the Wind Drake. It then charged towards the Wind Drake as fast as it could.
As for the Wind Drake it simply stared back at the Savage Saurus as it's lips started to form into a small smirk. It then flapped it's emerald wings and flew back up into the sky.
When it reached near the clouds, the Wind Drake immediately opened it's mouth and unleashed a green colored tornado with numerous wind blades within it towards the Savage Saurus.

The Savage Saurus was almost sent flying by the Wind Drake's attack.

"ROAR!" The Savage Saurus roared in pain as the wind blades from the Wind Drake's attack started striking parts of it's body. After a few moments the Savage Saurus immediately raised it's head towards the Wind Drake and stared at it with rage in it's eyes.
It then raised it's arms pointing towards the Wind Drake and like with the condor type spirit beast, it released spiked metal chains from it's arms and shot them towards the Wind Drake.
Seeing this the Wind Drake looked as if it sneered as it simply spun around in the air to avoid the spiked metal chains.
Seeing this the Savage Saurus immediately swung it's arms so that it's spiked metal chains would once again rush towards the Wind Drake.
And just like before the Wind Drake spun in mid-air and avoided the spiked metal chains.
Dai Xingchen then commented: "Each time the Wind Drake spins in mid-air, I can see a gust of wind come out of it's wings. He seems to be using that wind to delay the spiked chains so that he could avoid them easily."
For the next few moments the fight between the two spirit beasts were basically the same. The Savage Saurus would try to bind the Wind Drake with it's spiked chains while the Wind Drake would use it's wind to avoid them.
Suddenly it was at this moment that the Savage Saurus grimaced in pain as another part of it's body suddenly turned dark purple. It was clear that the Man Faced Demon Spider's venom was affecting it. Due to this the spiked metal chains suddenly stopped chasing after the Wind Drake.
Seeing this the Wind Drake immediately decided to grasp this opportunity. It immediately dived down towards the Savage Saurus at great speed. It's emerald wings then started glowing then BANG!
"ROAR!" The Savage Saurus was struck by the Wind Drake's emerald wings! A large bloody cut could now be seen on the Savage Saurus' chest. However the Wind Drake did not plan to let up. It immediately turned around to strike the Savage Saurus with it's emerald wings once again, but before it could do so the Savage Saurus' entire body suddenly started shining with silver light.
Clang!
The Wind Drake's emerald wings could not cut the Savage Saurus' shining silver body.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen muttered: "Woah!"
Daisy: "It seems to be an ability that greatly increased it's defense and durability my lord's chosen."
Seeing that it's emerald wings could not cut the Savage Saurus' body, the Wind Drake's expression immediately changed as it tried to get some distance from the Savage Saurus. But before it could do so, the Savage Saurus quickly grabbed it's emerald wings and BANG!
The Savage Saurus slammed the Wind Drake down to the ground!
"Roar!" The Wind Drake roared in pain as it struggled to get free from the Savage Saurus' claws.
It was at this moment that the Savage Saurus once again grimaced in pain as the Man Faced Demon Spider's venom had once again turned a part of it's body dark purple.
Seeing this the Wind Drake decided to once again take advantage of the situation. It opened it's mouth and unleashed a green tornado with numerous wind blades towards the Savage Saurus like before.
BANG!
"Roar!" The Savage Saurus roared as it was knocked down by the Wind Drake's attack.
Seeing that the Savage Saurus was temporarily down, the Wind Drake immediately flapped it's wings and flew into the sky as fast as it could.
After several seconds the Savage Saurus once again stood up with great difficulty and raised it's head towards the Wind Drake then stared at it with determination in it's eyes.
Seeing the Savage Saurus' expression Dai Xingchen couldn't help but remember many of his soldier comrades who had made that same expression from his previous life.
Dai Xingchen thought: "That look in his eyes.... the determination to fight to his last breath. He's really willing to risk his life to protect that flower isn't he?"
It was at this moment that the Man Faced Demon Spider took the opportunity to sneakily appear behind the Savage Saurus once again.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen didn't know what suddenly came over him, he simply rushed towards the direction of the battle using his phantom flicker movement, took out a large shuriken with dozens of explosive tags attached to it, then he suddenly threw the large shuriken towards the Man Faced Demon Spider.
Since Dai Xingchen did not use energy when he threw the large shuriken, the three spirit beasts did not sense Dai Xingchen's shuriken coming at all. After all they were mainly focused on their fight. As the large shuriken was approaching the Man Faced Demon Spider, Dai Xingchen immediately fully focused his sharingan eyes so that he could time things perfectly. The very moment his large shuriken arrived in front of the Man Faced Demon Spider's face, Dai Xingchen immediately made a hand sign. The explosive tags on the large shuriken then flashed for a split second and BOOOOM!
The large shuriken immediately exploded right in front of the Man Faced Demon Spider's face!
Daisy: "M-My lord's chosen what are you doing?! Do you realize that by doing that, you will now definitely attract these spirit beasts attention!"
Hearing Daisy's words Dai Xingchen couldn't help but give a forced smile as he replied: "I don't know why I did this either. It's just that the moment I saw the Man Faced Demon Spider suddenly appear behind the Savage Saurus, my body kinda.... just moved on it's own."

Hearing his reply Daisy couldn't help but be speechless.
"Zhi! Zhi!" When the smoke cleared the Man Faced Demon Spider appeared unharmed. However it looked as if it was pretty pissed by what just happened.
But before it could do anything else, a large claw covered in silver energy suddenly pierced through it's body.
It was the Savage Saurus! Thanks to the explosion caused by Dai Xingchen, the Savage Saurus immediately noticed the Man Faced Demon Spider and attacked it before it could get away again.
"Zhiiiiiiiiiiiii!" Cried the Man Faced Demon Spider as it finally died.
It was at this moment that the Wind Drake suddenly noticed Dai Xingchen. Realizing that the human child it was staring at was most likely the one responsible for ruining what could've been a good opportunity to kill the Savage Saurus, it immediately rushed towards Dai Xingchen with the intention to kill him.
Wind Drake: "Roar!"
Daisy: "My lord's chosen it's coming!"
Seeing the Wind Drake rushing towards him, Dai Xingchen immediately called forth his Zangetsu Blade and activated his Hollow Mask Spirit Skill.
He then immediately used his Hollow Mask Enhanced - Phantom Flicker Movement to try to get away from the oncoming Wind Drake.

However even with the Hollow Mask enhancing his phantom flicker movement, Dai Xingchen quickly realized that the Wind Drake was still able to easily catch up to him.
Dai Xingchen muttered: "Damn!"
Just as Dai Xingchen was about to open the first gate to further increase his speed....

"Roar!" The Savage Saurus suddenly came out of nowhere and tackled the Wind Drake to the ground.
Seeing this Dai Xingchen immediately took the opportunity to go behind one of the large trees and hide.
He then quickly deactivated his martial soul just in case one of the spirit beasts could sense it. Then he took a deep breath and asked: "Daisy do you think it would be best for us to leave now?"
Daisy: "Yes I believe that would be the wise choice here my lord's chosen."
It was at this moment that Dai Xingchen heard a new voice sound from his head.
???: "Don't tell you're planning on running away just because of that overgrown lizard that's a sorry excuse for a dragon?!"
Hearing the voice Dai Xingchen couldn't but shudder as he muttered: "This voice.... You're that Red beast that appeared in my spiritual sea previously!"
The Red Beast: "Glad to hear that you remember me from my voice."
Dai Xingchen: "What do you want? And how are you even awake?"
The Red Beast: "I was awakened when I sensed the dragonic aura coming from that beast that was chasing you. So don't worry I'll go back to my beauty sleep in a little while. As for what I want... since I didn't particularly like the aura coming from that overgrown green lizard, I've decided to give you a bit of help this time around. After all it's quite rare for me to be temporarily awakened like this."
Dai Xingchen: "What makes you think I need your help?"
The Red Beast: "Heh kid don't forget I am currently inside you. This allows me to not only sense your current feelings but also several of your strong thoughts. As such I can sense that you have a bit of desire to help that beast fighting the overgrown lizard."

Indeed Dai Xingchen couldn't deny that. Seeing how the Savage Saurus so desperately fought to make sure the other spirit beasts don't get their hands on the Divine Elegance Virgo Dahlia had somewhat moved him. It reminded him of how he was in his previous life where he would desperately fight any threat that could potentially harm his country. No matter how hurt or bloodied he got, he always stood up and continued the fight. The Red Beast: "Yes however do not be alarmed none of these things are harmful to you. Heh in fact I'd say they will definitely be of great help to you instead. Now then let me unlock the reward I had bestowed you when we last met."
