All I can say is diwu qing rou is just a delusional person. He clearly attack iron cloud first and iron cloud simply retaliate with chu yang. Yet he act like chu yang cause a disaster to great zhao and everything is his fault. C'mon dude since you plan to kill the other guy, naturally he will retaliate. You can't expect him to just sit still and die happily. Your loses are your own fault. If your greed does not lead you to offending chu yang, then this will not happen. And yet he still act as if he is the victim. Are you people so stupid and still can him smart and wise when he is simply finding excuse for him failure!?

To be fair Chu yang did dismantle his 10 year old near 100% success plan within a year or so, had mothing go right since one of the kings died in Iron Cloud and ruined his plans for lower heaven (and more but that's upper heaven arc spoilers) He kinda has the right to be mad

A single long major arc is not a problem. The problem is that many writers focus too much on details in starting arc but rushes too much fast in the later arc. The best example of such a novel is SOTR which mc is Jiang Chen.

I still don't understand how Diwu Qing Rou was forced to start the war earlier, he said he couldn't fall back so he had to push forward and topple the Imperial Power, but why couldn't he stop there. Did he have to start the war early as a show of authority and power, but as we know, he already has plenty of that because he was able to easily topple the Zhao king. Maybe I'm just stupid.

What an empty, pointless filler chapter. Everything could've been boiled down to two paragraphs instead of a full chapter of someone waxing poetically bout nothing at all.
