WZ is really smart, I picture him extorting a promise from the fire demon elder....in exchange for phumetheus’s life.... the fire demon’s would swear to due no harm to an member of the earthling faction (or maybe even protect them).... maybe the elder would make a counter offer for as long as WZ lives, or some finite amount of time....
