Flying White Egrets
It's been three years, they have spent a lot of time together, and romances normally go quicker than this. But because of the huge time skip, it just seems like that went way to quick. I feel like the author should have extended it out another 20 to 30 chapters giving us little snippets of that time period. For example, have one to three chapters about an event - first breakthrough, little romance, etc. - then skip some time to the next major event. That way the novel continues in a fast pace and we still feel like we've witnessed their love for each other grow. As it stands now, it's more like Grimm saved Lafey and she said let's ****, not really much of an emotional moment there for the readers.
