I really don’t get why supposedly everyone in the church is so damn stupid? It shouldn’t be that easy to explode their minds? Don’t you know that all stories get better with good ‘evil guys’? Because if I was a crazy radicalist, I would either not be that interested and if so, not that effected by new findings, or I would say that the churchs interpretation of the Holy Text is wrong, or I would only say “Gods ways is mysterious and not for humans to understand”
Because supposedly the congress were touching the domain of God by explaining about the origin of life and what and which particles made up the world. If the church refused to answer or reassure the bishops and folks, they will start to doubt the religion which lead to the downfall of church of light. Not to mention Congress's findings, experiments can be done by anyone hence proven that its evidence is true
Why bother explaining the world, the church should just focus on being good followers with good morals and bringing tithe to the church to ascend the heaven! When you try to interprate gods words based on current knowledge its useless! It doesn't matter what was written, just interprete them as parables in living morally so no heads will explode, and people can both believe in god and magic-science at the same time.
