I thought he would give a more detailed explanation and better, after all to say that sorcerers are not bad, but without explaining things right would not make anyone believe, let alone believing people like his adoptive family.

Yeah, make sense. If they moved with Lucien, it will be too unreal. They devoted to Church for their entire lives, viewed sorcerers as evils far too long. No one can change their mind set that easily.

I feel sad for Lucien. His adoptive family rejected him. Although they're still kind to him, they're outright scared of him now. And I love how Lucien professed his love for learning and magic. It just didn't reach the hearts of his adoptive family.

Didn’t seem like he tried that hard to show sorcerers aren’t all bad like how they help improve people’s lives. How recently he helped farmers be able to grow more crops so they won’t starve and have money to support their families. Well I guess it will work out in the end probably so back to magic.
