The recent chapters feel like ******** moral propaganda. I get the author admires selfless heroes but it doesnāt fit the initial characteristics I got from the protagonist. Something tells me his refining will take a backseat to all this selfless hero ish. Itās kind of annoying. I feel like Iām being emotionally manipulated. I know what I want the mc to do but the author writes the plot in a way that leaves the mc no choice but to be influenced by his emotions. The school choice and now this selfless thing. It feels fake for a refiner to risk his life when he could be creating weapons to help soldiers destroy demons. He doesnāt need to be at the frontlines giving his life. For a vulture, the mc has too much empathy.
