'Yeah, this loser was also cheated on by some whore, which is probably why he tried committing suicide. Tsk! What a disgrace, not only is he a fat molester, but he got cuckolded too. Even his own family has given up on this failure,' Asuka's expression darkened with frustration as he recalled his memories.

Now as Asuka was about to speak, he noticed Yuna's expression getting darker and darker. He could see clear hatred in her eyes. That made him flinch a bit.

"Ahem, Yuna don't worry about that. I'm fine. You can go, I have some business with Rio," Asuka spoke firmly, pulling himself together.

"Yes, Master," Yuna replied through clenched teeth. As she walked away, she muttered under her breath, "So you changed because of that whore..."

"So where are we going?" Rio asked after Yuna was gone, turning towards Asuka.

"First we need to get some info from Ken," 

"From Ken? You know he'll charge a lot, right?"

Asuka let out a frustrated sigh. Although money was never an issue for him coming from a prestigious clan, they had started putting limits on his funds due to all the problems he caused.

'I know I need to be more conscious with money now. But I have to satisfy my ego over this, or I won't be able to sleep,' he thought before nodding in confirmation. 

Asuka quickly waved over a nearby driver to bring their luxurious black car around.

*Vroom!!*

Accelerating, they moved in a luxurious black car.

After 3 hours, the luxury car drove into a slum area. Taking two turns, they arrived at a rundown-looking house. 

They parked the car a distance away. Asuka and Rio got out and walked up to a broken black door that looked in very bad condition. As they approached, Asuka gestured Rio to knock.

'She cheated on Asuka for this poor guy. Looks like it was their plan all along. What a fool Asuka was to even let these street thugs take advantage of him,' Asuka thought as a big bald black muscular man opened the door.

"Who do you want?"

'What the fuck, Ava should be the same age as me, 17. What is she doing with this guy?' Asuka thought, bewildered as his expression quickly turned disgusted upon seeing the guy.

"We w-want to talk to Ava," Rio stammered, visibly intimidated by the man's size.

"She's not here," the muscular man said in a commanding voice. 

"No wait, we actually want to talk to you," Asuka said immediately as the muscular man was about to close the door.

"Oh? You, Asuka? what do you want to cry about her cheating on you? And what, will you threaten me with your Kaito family?" the bald guy said arrogantly with a smirk.

"Hey babe, what's taking so long?" a sweet feminine voice called out as a short blonde busty girl in shorts came from inside. 

Upon noticing Asuka, she frowned. Looking at the muscular guy, she spoke, "What is this dumb fuck doing here?" Now turning to Asuka, she continued, "See Asuka what we ha..."

Before she could finish, ignoring her, Asuka spoke up in a loud firm voice, "I have an offer for you, Ben."

"An offer for me?"

"Your mother is terminally ill right?? With your identity, you can't even get her treated in any hospital. You don't have any job, you have to live on doing such third-rate businesses and you don't even have a real house." 

With a pause he continued, "There is a chance to make your mother smile, to make her happy." Asuka held out a brown envelope to Ben.

"This??"

"Inside is the key to a house under my Kaito family. And I've got a job for you too."

Ben's eyes went wide. "But why would you..."

Before he could finish, Ava cut in angrily. She glared at Asuka. "Babe what the fuck is this fucker talking we shouldn't trust him." 

"You know what to do right." 

Ben raised his hand and slapped Ava hard across the face. "Shut up, Bitch!" he yelled. 

"What are you doing?" Ava cried out, holding her swelled cheek. "Everything I did, I did for you, Ben!" 

But Ben wasn't listening. "I said shut up!" He grabbed a fistful of Ava's long hair and slammed her face against the wall. Then he started hitting her over and over. 

Asuka's face darkened as he watched the cruel scene he had planned unfold. He knew Ava wasn't really to blame, she was also pretty much brainwashed. And previous Asuka was also a scumbag he deserved it. But as a man, he couldn't just let it go, being cuckolded his pride was too hurt, and he couldn't just sleep it over.

Rio also turned his gaze in the opposite direction, frightened. Pulling himself together for the task he has to execute next.

"Stop now!! it's enough."

The big muscle man let go of Ava's face roughly. "Yes, master," he said.

Asuka then looked down at Ava. She was all beaten up. Bruises on her face, hands and legs. Blood was even coming out of her lips. She stared back at Asuka with her lifeless eyes. No anger, no feeling at all.

Ava grew up in the poor slums and there Ben was her only support. In her cruel life, he was her only reason to live. But now he also had betrayed her. She now felt no meaning to keep on living.

"Feel it, this is what I felt…. But it was not your mistake," Asuka muttered in a low voice. Even though barely audible, Ava understood by reading his lips. Tears formed in her dead eyes, slowly flowing down. She screamed as she cried. All her mixed-up feelings of betrayal, regret and sorrow burst out.

Asuka waved his hand, signalling his bodyguard sitting in the car to come out.

"Take her to Ken," 

The bodyguard quickly picked Ava up over his shoulder and walked towards the parked car.

Glancing at Ava one last time, Asuka's lips parted, "I'm sorry," he muttered.

Then he faced Ben again. "You can start from tomorrow," Asuka said with a straight face.

"Yes, thank you very much, master!" Ben said with a satisfied smile, bowing his head.

Asuka looked at Rio and made a sign with his eyes. Getting the hint, Rio was scared but he quickly reached into his pocket with a trembling hand and pulled out a knife. 

Gripping it tight, he moved forward, stabbing the blade deep into the bald muscular man's head with all his strength.

"Awaak!!!" In a single hit, without a chance to retaliate Ben dropped dead on the ground.

Rio panted heavily, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "Aaafuuu..." He stared down at his own blood-stained hands, trembling violently. This was the first time he had ever killed someone, and he was utterly terrified.

Asuka patted Rio's shoulders, "You did the right thing."

Asuka then signalled his guard, "Take care of this and compensate his mother." Asuka said, pointing at the dead body.

Rio and Asuka walked to leave the slum area. They decided to take a taxi, while the guard handled the other matters.

As the cab pulled away, Asuka stared vacantly out the window. 'I gave the real culprit an easy death while torturing an innocent victim,' he thought bitterly. A cold chuckle slipped out. 'What a fool I am...this feeling of hatred...did Asuka actually have feelings for her?'

Rio glanced over at Asuka with a concerned frown. "Hey, Asuka? Are you really planning to join the Black Dragon training camp? To become a Warden?"

"Yes, I changed my mind. I am now really thinking of making Warden my career." 

"Good then, looks like it was meant to be your life's purpose. You couldn't escape it. I will miss you, bro. Even Though I can't follow you with your dream if you ever want to hang out and drink, I'll always be there," Rio said with a satisfied, genuine smile.

Asuka looked at him, his lips forming a smile. With a small laugh, he nodded. His disturbed mood from earlier was now somewhat feeling better.

"Let's see how it ends up."

Was the revenge satisfying? I apologize if the MC came off a bit edgy; he could have handled the situation better since both parties were equally guilty and innocent. However, as an evil lord, he isn't familiar with other ways of dealing with things. Follow his journey as his character develops over time, so I ask for your patience with it.
