20 CHAPTER TWENTY:I'm Engaged Grandpa!

"I refuse to be part of such nonsense,what had she done to you guys,Grandpa i  can't believe you sided with mom to get that slut as a wife for me"Zaiden reacted negatively to what his grandpa told him,after his encounter with Haze,arriving home he was called into his old man's office to have  a talk with him.

Zaiden couldn't believe the fact that his family was totally whipped out from Hazel's charm,including his grandpa who he knew was hardly someone to be fooled but here he is,telling him his engagement with that girl was to be fixed in a couple  days to come.

"You have no choice but to do as i say Zaiden,your inheritance is at stake here!"Grandpa thundered,an emergency shareholders meeting would soon be called up and he knew it's about his grandson. This has been the tradition since the establishment of the family business for one to have total control over it,you have to get married.

"To hell with that inheritance grandpa,what about my happiness?"Zaiden stood up in anger,his grandpa has clearly lost it,how could he have the wildest imagination to believe he was going to do as he says,just because some random girl has all of them wrapped around her fingers.

"Do you know what you are trying to do son?Hazel is a better choice than those greedy ladies out there"Grandpa tried assuring his stubborn grandson that Hazel was a perfect choice for him,unlike other aristocratic families who would sell off their children for an arranged marriage to grow their business without caring about their children's feelings.

Grandpa gave a deep breath,he loves Zaiden and would not like his son to fall victim to such malicious arrangement,he knew Zaiden and his temper,he would rather remain single than to marry such a headache to him,but Hazel, after reading the information the chief of staff gave to him about her and studying her character,she was the perfect choice for him.

"How sure are you she's innocent as you claimed,she's a gold digger dad just like aunt said,I…"

"Do you think Sophia would watch you get married to her even if she's not a gold digger,she believes the rumours about you being gay,that's why she called Hazel a gold digger,so that you wouldn't get married to her,son you need to realize that you being the heir to the family business has made you a threat to people"

"That what you all believes,aside from her character aunt Sophia is not bad as you believe"

"I'm quite disappointed at your sense of reasoning,in as much as you are stubborn that wouldn't change the fact that you are getting engaged to that …"

"I have a fianceè already father!!''Zaiden interjected,cutting the old man's words. He was not planning on announcing his engagement to Arianna so soon without her presence,but he had to do it now.

"What do you say?"Grandpa asked,his eyes wide in shock at his grandson's son's words,if he had a fianceè all along,why did he allow him go through all the stress just to convince the unwilling Hazel to be his son's wife.

"I'm engaged grandpa,to someone else"He repeated.

"If you think this is a joke to you Zaiden.."

"It's not father,I'm engaged "Zaiden insisted.

"Who's she?"Grandpa asked curiously,not believing his son,he knew Zaiden and his tactics. He would go to an extra length to make sure he doesn't get married to Hazel,but since he's claiming to be engaged to someone else,let's see how it goes.

"She's coming over tomorrow,till then,I have no answers to your question"Zaiden stood up from his seat,he was fed up with the old man's lectures.

"Zaiden,you know what this means,we are talking about your future which is going to be handed over to  Nathan if you don't heed to my instructions and know what's best for you,but since you're are claiming to have a sudden fianceè,I would respect your decision and be expecting her,but if i don't find her worthy to .."

"Anna is more worthy and entitled to be my wife,more than that whore!"Ziaden defended the love  of his life,his grandpa was underestimating his fiancee because of some low life leech who is targeting his fortune.

"Zaiden, mind your tone!"Grandpa shouted at his arrogant son.

"I'm sorry grandpa,I think we are done for today,have a good night rest"Ziaden told his old man  lastly, leaving the door but not without pushing the door as it made a loud sound  for his grandpa to realize that he was pissed off at him.

Hmm! This arrogant piece of shit!

The old man hollered but his words was swallowed up in silence in his room.

Zaiden turned to find his mom infront of him,the look she had on her face was that of sadness because he had  been avoiding her since yesterday,in as much as he didn't want to hurt his mom but she made a terrible mistake yesterday which he had not gotten over.

"Sweetheart.."Avery called walking to touch him but he flinched back from her grasp,as she looked up at him in hurt,she knew she overstepped her boundaries by doing what she did yesterday,but her son was one Stubborn flea that would not listen to her.

"Zaiden,you.."

"I need to sleep"he told her in a cold voice,he was holding himself from not talking to her,leaving her to think over what she did to him yesterday.

"Arrh!"Ziaden yelled in frustration,he threw every contents lying on his table as they hit the floors making a terrible noise as Avery flinched in fear hearing the uproar coming  from his room.

Did she make a mistake trying to get a wife for him?

Zaiden dialed Arianna's number,his breathing increased due to what he just did,his room was totally messed up,the fact that no one in his family cared about his feelings before taking a decision for him had him angry and for the first time he hated the fact that he was the heir to the family business.

He threw his phone to his bed,ruffling his hair in frustration,this was the second time he was calling her today,she was not picking up,no matter how busy she was,she always picks up his calls whenever she's done with whatever she was doing,since few days now,his Bambi has not being licking his calls.

Did she not see his calls  or was she deliberately not picking his call?

Well,he  would have those answers known to himself tomorrow,he was leaving for new york tomorrow to see her and bring her over to see his parents.

After tomorrow,his family would relieve him of the stress of marrying that slut,he smiled at the fact that Hazel pretended that she did not know that his mom was planning on pairing them up.

He commended,she was one good actress at pretending.

Tomorrow would have everyone placed where they rightfully belonged,his Bambi at his side and his gold digging imposter fianceè at the club where she belonged to look for other rich men to fall into her trap.

Hazel Blackwood,you've treaded  on the wrong household,you can't deceive me you slut!

Ziaden smiled in victory,he was sure his parents were going to love his bambi,like who would love Arianna?

It was just a matter of tomorrow,then things would go back to how they were,right?
