13 CHAPTER THIRTEEN:Make him stop and stare!!

"Hazel,are you okay?"One of the waitresses asked Hazel who was lost in thought and not noticing that the coffee was done.

"Yes,I'm good "Hazel replied back to Mia,smiling to reassure her that everything was fine.This dinner appointment  with the Knights had her tensed up,she barely got a wink of sleep last night,due to nervousness.

"No you are not,you didn't even notice my presence,so tell me what's wrong?"Mia insisted.

"Seriously,I'm good Mia"

"Sure?"

"Yeah,I guess I'm just tired because i couldn't sleep yesterday,but I'm okay"

"Why not sit and rest for a bit,I'll cover for you ,I don't have much to do anyway"Mia offered.

"Thanks Mia,but I'm good"Hazel appreciated her kind gesture,she was such a lovely soul and much more friendly around here.

"Okay,I'll see you around"Mia told her before she heard her name being called.

"Mia look she's  going  live,isn't she pretty?"Naomi said to Mia as everyone's attention was now on the lovely lady was being interviewed by reporters.

"Wow,she's so beautiful!"Mia exclaimed which made Hazel's interest to move over to the television,she could say the lady looked fascinating,from the way she dressed and spoke with an elegant tone,she must be an actress or model.

"Her boyfriend is such a lucky guy,"Naomi added further.

"Who's she?"Hazel asked as they gazed at her in surprise.

"Ya kidding right,like who doesn't know Ariana Walters,our country's supermodel"Naomi asked, mocking Hazel for her inability to recognize top celebrities.

"Naomi, you know Hazel rarely has time for these"Mia defended.

"Then she shouldn't have asked in the first place since she doesn't fancy watching fashion shows"

"You are such a killermood"Mia degraded Naomi who glared at her annoyingly.

"Whatever"Naomi stuck out her tongue to the duo leaving them to go to her duty post.

"She's acting childishly,you don't have…"

"I know Mia,and I'm not bothered about her behaviour"Hazel replied, giving a cheerful smile to assure Mia that she's not bothered about Naomi.

"It's time to leave,"Mia told her, releasing her apron from her waist.

"Oh boy!"Hazel whispered as the moment she was avoiding was here,she glanced at the huge wall clock which showed she had less than two hours to prepare for the appointment,her ringing phone brought her out of her thoughts.

"Sunnnnny"Hazel whined as she headed for the changing room.

"Ta-da I'm done"Sunny exclaimed as she moved aside from the mirror for her friend to take in her looks.

"I look …"Hazel was short of words"Stunning"she  was still trying to access herself,she didn't actually know that she was this pretty.

Hazel knew she was naturally pretty but after the lit makeup by her friend,she was still shocked to believe that she was this beautiful.

Sunny turned a pathetic orphan into a real life princess,her smokey eyeshadows stood out to give her a hot look,one would actually believe that she was a celebrity.

"Sun,you are amazing!"Hazel told her sweeping her into a tight hug

"You are going to ruin your makeup girl"Sunny broke the hug  checking to see if the makeup was damaged.

"Thanks a lot Sun,i really appreciate"

"Then if you are really grateful,I need you to tame the cold hearted Zaiden"

"Seriously"Hazel folded her arms raising her eyebrow to give her girlfriend a glare that indicated that she was not a fan of such plans

"You know it's not negotiable"Sunny pestered further.

"I need to put on my dress,I have…"Hazel told her checking the time,"oh my god,I have less than fifteen minutes to leave"She said in a hurry as she went to change her outfit.

Hazel dressed up with the help of Sunny,who has been acting all lovey dovey,demonstrating how Zaiden was going to be short of words once he sees her.

"Now to spice it up"Sunny added as she brought out a box,and handed it over to Hazel.

"What's that?"

"Check for yourself"Sunny told her, acting as if she knew nothing about what's in the box.

"No you didn't,I can't accept this Sun,you have done enough"Hazel declared giving the box back to Sunny when she saw the contents,it was a silver teardrop necklace with matching earrings.

"Meaning?"Sunny asked.Hazel has always been one of the more complicated people she had ever met,and sometimes she couldn't understand her.

"Meaning that you are making me feel really indebted to you Sun,you have done a lot for me which I really appreciate,but this,I'm sorry I can't accept this"

"Why are you so.."

"I'm sorry Sun"

"Then I'm lending it to you for tonight,for my finishing touch"Sunny pestered further,just to make sure she looked her best tonight. She hoped it would work out the way she prayed.

"Okay"Hazel told her with a smile as she turned her back as she felt the metal being placed around her neck.

"There,all good to go,remember Hazel you need to behave your best"Sunny advised as Hazel watched her imagining  how Sunny would look like if she was a mother,because she's such a great adviser.

He he,just kidding!

"I just need to be me Sun,I'm not going there for the son,like  I said I just don't want to disappoint the lady".Hazel stood  firm in her decisions,choosing to drop Sunny's lectures ,making Sunny give up already.

"Okay ,since you say so,but Incase he stares at you try to…"Sunny added but was cut short.

"He's not going to stare Sun"

"Clearly he's going to stare if he's a real man,"Sunny told her, crossing her arms.

"Which I know even if he stares ,he wouldn't think twice to call me a gold digger,I mean Sun check it out,we are two different worlds apart,he's rich and I'm a nobody,so stop with those lewd thoughts"Hazel told her with seriousness in her tone,surprising Sunny.

"Alright alright,I give up"Sunny said, raising her hands up in surrender  as the doorbell sounded.

"I guess, that's my cue to leave,"Hazel said, standing up to check herself in the mirror.

"Don't forget,make him stop and stare,love conquers all!"Sunny exclaimed as Hazel  laughed,seriously Sunny was such an actress,she went for the door to meet the guard.

"Love you!"Sunny shouted all the way from the sitting room as Hazel was escorted into an expensive black limousine,Mrs Knights was treating her as a princess .

"You can do this Hazel"Hazel chanted over and over,trying to reassure herself that everything was going to be okay,
