14 CHAPTER FOURTEEN:Zaiden meet Hazel,your fiancee!

Hazel's heart skipped a bit when the car stopped in front of a  huge mansion,the gate opened instantly without any guard stationed at the gateside.

Technology! She thought.

The car was opened by the guard as she was marveled at the sight in front of her. The mansion was so large with a Lion statue which was designed with gold standing at the entrance.

She saw a water fountain with it's water slipping out of a female statue,the design alone was outstanding,with flowers of different calibers decorated around the corners of the huge mansion.

The floor of the entrance was designed with golden tiles. She noticed the guards stationed at every corner of the huge house  as she followed the guard that drove her here.

Gradually,she could feel her self-confidence leaving her slowly,as she couldn't imagine the situation that was awiting her inside this magnificent place.

"I shouldn't have accepted the idea of coming here"Hazel took a deep breath to calm her nerves ,approaching the front door she was asked to wait for her arrival to be made known to the family.

"Follow me"the guard told her as she took a deep breath and stepped into the building.

"How's the food father?"Avery asked grandpa who smiled at her raising his hand to give her a thumbs up.

"I prepared this for you father"Sophia stood up, placing an Italian dish she prepared specially to win the heart of the old man.

"Not bad"The old man said, flashing her a smile as the tension in the air was high,everyone knew that she was doing this just to avoid Avery and her son stealing the spotlight of the dinner.

Ezekiel looked at his brother who threw a mischievous smirk his way as he squeezed his wife's hand to reassure her that she did well.

"So why the additional seat?"Grandpa inquired from Avery that was when everyone's attention took notice of the formation and setting of the table.

Avery was in charge of preparing tonight's dinner; she also included another seat,making the family curious as to why she did that.

"I have an important guest coming"Avery told grandpa smiling and that was when Zaidens attention shifted to his mom,that was the first time his mom was inviting someone for dinner and not just any dinner,she invited someone on the day his grandpa came back.

"Wow,that's a first,who if I may ask?"Ezekiel asked his wife, surprised by her actions lately,these days his wife has been acting strange.

"It's a surprise?"Avery replied back while grandpa chuckled at her refusal to tell them who was coming.

"It seems he or she is very important,that you had to conceal the information from us"Elijah spoke up,drinking from his glass cup ,Avery totally ignoring him.

"Wow, especially you had to invite them today,such an attention seeker"Sophia dropped the last words that made everyone look at her,disbelief in their faces especially Zaiden who couldn't stand when his mom was being bullied.

"Auntie!"Zaiden roared, earning a dangerous look from Nathan .

"Sophia!"Ezekiel called in an angry tone,he had always disliked the way she acted around his wife.

"Mom"Nathan had to intervene,when he understood that she was clearly trying to make his aunt look bad.

"I didn't say anything wrong,she could have waited not on this special day"She added further, not caring about the elderly man who gave her a gaze that indicated that she had overstepped her boundaries .

"Apologize immediately!"Grandpa demanded in a harsh voice.

"Father it's okay"Avery tried persuading her father-in-law that he should not take her words seriously,like who doesn't know that she was such a troublemaker.

"Do you know who you just insulted?''Ezekiel ranted to Sophia,and that was the last  straw that broke the camel's back when Elijah understood what he meant.

"Ezekiel!"Elijah thundered.

"Father!"Nathan called he knew this was going to result like this,his mom was such a talkative 

"Enough all of you!"Grandpa shouted as everywhere went calm the minute they heard the old man's voice,they knew what he was capable of doing when he's angry.

"The young lady has arrived"the head security announced ,making the family compose themselves,while deep in their heart they knew this discussion wasn't over.

The loud stumping of heels were heard as the young lady approached them keeping a calm expression on her face,slowly everyone's attention was shifted to her,Nathan was shocked at the pretty lady ,the way she smiled and walked to the dinner,had his chest flutter at first sight.

"Who's she?"Sophia muttered looking at her husband who was immersed with the show.

"Good evening sir"Hazel greeted bowing down to the elderly man with a genuine smile on her face,while the elderly man patted her hair smiling at her .

Zaiden gulped down a glass of wine,his attention drifting to the sweet melodious voice of their guest,he started at her feet looking up to notice the way her curves hugged the gown she was wearing,showing off her heavenly features,her long legs were on display by the cut of the gown by her left leg,his heart stopped for a minute when he looked at her face,her lit makeup could not outshadow the fact that she was a fucking goddess of beauty!

Zaiden suddenly felt hot in his body,not quite understanding why his mind and body was reacting this way towards the lady,wait a minute.

He turned towards the direction of the girl who was busy greeting  his dad and uncle,her face  felt familiar ,he was not quite sure where he met her,his brain was totally messed up with her alluring scent which filled the air,he did not know how to control himself but stopped when he heard his mom.

"Meet Hazel  family,isn't she beautiful"Avery introduced her,smiling sweetly at the young girl who was trying to calm her nerves ,he noticed the young lady was not a fan of attention and was looking at his mom to stop with the praises.But wait,if his mom was introducing a lady to the family,what was her aim?

Zaiden looked up to meet the gaze of his mom,when he figured out the equation,from the way she was treating him and the way she was galibating about the dinner yesterday,only meant one thing.

He was still trying to speak up when he noticed they were already standing in front of him,the girl unable to hold her gaze in front of him.

"Hazel meet Zaiden"Avery introduced her to her son whose by his  expression has figured out her plan,but she didn't care,turning to her son,she dropped the last statement that made everywhere tensed up,

"Zaiden meet Hazel..your fiancee".
