What's so Important!

Confused Jada immediately went to her contacts to call Michael and ask him what exactly was happening. "Tring Tring" the phone rang.

"Hello"

"Hey it's Jada , Michael are you Okay?"

"It's very Nice to hear your voice Jada.. But I.. I can assure you , I'm okay."

"Okay great , Why do we have to meet then?"

"I...I can't tell you over the phone , I've already booked a ticket to China, I'll be there tomorrow morning. let's meet at Yin Jun 's Eatery at 8am"

"Ummh Okay , Take care Michael."

"I lo.." Michael stopped himself before he could finish the sentence , "I'm looking forward to seeing you" he said . and dropped the call.

Jada didn't sleep peacefully that night , she was trying to think about what was so important that would make Michael want to talk to her in person .

"Has he reconsidered staying in New York forever?"

"Does he want us to fix things? does he still love me? does he want us to get married again"

Jada has all these questions in her mind and the only person who could answer them was in a flight as she was thinking. So her only option now was to sleep , and wait for morning to come.

Jada woke up every now and then in the middle of the night , to check if it was morning yet and to check if there was any text from Michael but none were there , not the morning and definitely not a text from Michael. Hours went by and Jada's alarm Rang , "I don't wanna go there , I wish I never go there" , that was her alarm , Yep Justin Bieber 's song. she set this song because she honestly did not want to got to work everyday her alarm Rang , but things had changed today , the alarm Rang to wake her up so she could go where she really wanted to go , to Meet up with Michael. Jada jumped out of bed with no hesitation to go take a shower , "I'm sooo happy , so happy that you're in my life and maybe ..." her song in the shower was interrupted by a knock at her door, she got out of shower and out on a towel to go check who it was , normally she would be angry if someone was to knock so early in the morning at her house , but today? today it didn't matter ,She was happy. when she got to the door , it was the nosey Neighbor , Helen , "Hey Makhi (neighbor) , could you please give me some sugar." she said. sugar? imagine if Jada was still sleeping and someone had come to wake her up for sugar? , either way Jada was not so mad about this , infact she gave Helen a whole 1kg of sugar which she had bought the day before. it's amazing how happiness can make people do things they wouldn't normally do. she the slammed the door to go back to the shower , after taking a few steps towards the shower , she returned to the door , opened it and out her head out to look for Helen. then she finally spotted her , "May this be the last time you come to my house so early in the morning , next time you won't find me this happy" she shouted and closed the door again. back to the shower again , she opens her phone to check if there were any messages from Michael but there were none , this meant nothing , they were still going to meet up anyway.

At 7:50 , Jada jumped into her Red Range Rover in her red high heels and a black long dress. Driving from her house to Yin Jun's Eatery was about a 10 minutes drive ,hence she left her house 10 minutes to 8, the time in which she had agreed her husband on. And indeed 10 minutes later , Jada got to the restaurant but Michael was nowhere to be found . she understood, sat down and waited , I mean he had just gotten out of a flight right? he's probably still on his way to the restaurant.

"After all these years , you somehow still manage to take my breath away", a deep voice from behind came to her ears, it was Michael , he was finally here!. Jada froze in front of Michael for a few seconds , she couldn't believe her eyes ,Michael had really come to meet her , he was back. but was he back forever ? that we don't know. "Please do take a seat" said Jada to Michael. Michael pulled out a chair and set next to Jada . "You look like you can't believe it's me , Darling i told you that one day we would meet again and here were are ." said Michael. Jada just giggled and called at the waiter , "What would you like to order ma'am ?" asked the waiter , "I'd like a large burger with extra cheese ,Medium ribs ,Small fries and a glass of Coke" Said Michael and Jada at the same time , The waiter was amazed and so was Jada , "Awww Newlyweds? Girl your husband loves you so much, he even knows what the exact order you're about to order, I wish to experience this kind of love " said the waiter to Jada , "Actually we're not..." Michael interrupted Jada as she was about to talk ,"I make it my priority to know every single thing my woman likes , I would like to place the same order as her , thank you" , Said Michael .

They looked at each other straight in the eyes for a few minutes and Jada couldn't help but smile , you would swear she was a teenager in love.

"So why am I here?" Jada broke the silence.

"Well , Jada ever since you and I went our separate ways, I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I think about you every day , the life we could've had if I hadn't left ,wether we would've had kids or not , I regret leaving you Jada , I never stopped loving you " said teary Michael.

"Uhh Michael are you dying or something?" Said Jada Jokingly. Michael just looked down to take a tissue of of his pocket to wipe his tears , Jada who was now confused as to what was happened continued to ask "Michael are you...are you sick?"

"I have Cancer Jada, I only have a year left to live and I want to spend my last year with you, I want to make up for lost time. please allow me to make you the happiest woman alive , be my wife again and let me die a happy man , please Jada" said Michael as he went down on one knee to Propose to the woman in front of her. Everyone in the restaurant screamed congratulations and the waiter delivered their food right at the time. Before Jada could say anything ,another waiter came with a cake that was written "Congratulations" . "We give cakes to every couple that gets engaged in our restaurant as a form of appreciation, Congratulations Mr and soon to be Mrs ....?" said the waiter as she awaited Michael to say his surname ,"Genaro. Mr Genaro" he said. "Congratulations Mr and Soon to be Mrs Genaro" added the waiter.
