###Chapter 57 Saving a person doesn't work

"Eric, what's wrong with you?" Linda reached out to pull him.

His fingers were so cold, it scared her, and instinctively she pulled back her hand.

"Nothing, you rest, I still have things to do," Eric said, about to fold back out.

Behind him, was Linda's courageous follow-up question, "Are you going to find Cindy?"

He had told Linda a long time ago that he had an axe to grind with the Scott family and that he was marrying Cindy for revenge.

But why did she have to think he liked Cindy?

A woman's sixth sense was ridiculous.

"I forbid you to go." Linda wrinkled her eyebrows, "That Cindy has gotten dirty, in case you didn't know, she's been in and out of Augusta Hills again, and drinking with lots of men."

She muttered, "And, she's in debt to loan sharks and seems to have almost been thrown overboard."
