It was clear that last time, he still seemed to not remember this incident at all.

After a brief daze, Cindy nodded and responded, "Yes."

The car stopped just before the traffic light, and his unkind eyes skimmed over Cindy's face.

"Mr. Sullivan has always taken good care of female students, especially the pretty ones."

Cindy's pupils snapped shut.

Then Dylan turned the steering wheel and the car drove off to a side road.

The surrounding streetlights were dim, and Cindy only felt the irony in his eyes, "Mr. Krane, what do you mean?"

"What? You're afraid to admit what you've done?"

He slammed on the brakes, then clutched Cindy's wrist, forcing her to look at himself, "A woman who sleeps over at her teacher's house for a few hours and makes out with her ex-husband on the street, what kind of noble thing is she pretending to be in front of me!"

Cindy jerked backward.

But the car door was locked from the inside and she couldn't push it open.
