thank you for the chapter. he should make very very certain that he can get away with 100% certainty the first time. if he gets caught lol, he's done for. honestly he should also have a very in depth plan, backup plan and a backup to the backup. it would kinda suck if he got caught or f*cked over. they'll definitely chase them with all they have and tbh he's probably the safest in Konoha. I don't mean to say that defection isn't viable, but he at least knows from his memories that he will be safe in Konoha for several years. if he leaves jiraiya will hunt him down. danzo will hunt him down. it'd be best if he just swallowed his indignation and hatred and stayed in Konoha until he has at least the strength of a kage.
