To be completely honest, the concept of the MC being NTR'd hasn't crossed my mind. Moreover, the narrative where the MC is betrayed by someone and subsequently seeks revenge on their adversary feels somewhat cliché. I would prefer to avoid introducing such a plot right at the outset of the story.
