Like how about a branch of dark magic that focuses on corrosion. Make it like its a branch of magic that Ancient Indian wizards had devised to compete with the goblins in metallurgy. Also did you know, that Serpensortia is a spell that was made in India in canon. Also you can delve more deeply on how other wizarding schools work other than just hogwarts. And also if Nigel is a balance of dark and light as shown by his wand, why doesnt he change the wizarding world as a whole. The whole of Wizarding britain is still in the Middle Ages and needs a massive Revamp.... But hey!! that's just a theory a fanfiction
