I know Yggdrasil was an advanced gaming experience but Momonga just said it before. Even Hetermorfs had no options for their face to make an actual expression.. meaning the game had no capacity or updates for super detailed things... Even NPC's weren't able to talk just to follow orders... I feel the NPC's from a normal town/city have too much personality.. And taking into account you could have lvl's on forge or potion creation means the DEV's wanted people to do most things themselfs as there were many creations that were a secret... You just entered a humanoid town, said you were a vampire to an NPC and then he magically has a book that allows divine lvl forging ? It's way too easy .. Yggdrasil was about discovering secrets even in creation ( that's why many weapons and skills were hidden to protect that information)... I'm not saying the story is bad but there are details that don't match that well ( at least for people who are obsessed as me about Overlord ).
