While I appreciate the explanation chapters they are rather dry. You might want to save them for a few chapters down where they would be in context, and mark them as reference so people can keep on with the story. Just saying I almost quit reading before I finally reached the start of the actual story due to the exposition chapters that don’t mean much if I don’t even have the story to fit them into.
