No one said the mission is mandatory or must be done the same day you receive it. He could have left it for when he didn't have school instead of going through this ridiculous situation lying to his parents without even being able to formulate a good enough idea. It seems like he believes his parents wouldn't realize he's hiding something, idiot. Just by the way he acted when trying to explain, he already made it clear that he was lying and avoiding talking for some reason. He's too rushed in my opinion, try again.
