Thanks for the chapter Shen and Tai lung are actually quite similar. Both where unique Both had thought they had a promising future. Both hopes were destroyed by someone „supposedly“ wiser telling them about their darkness. (Oogway/Soothsayer) Both felt betrayed/abandoned by their parents. Both where painted as the most horrible villains. I think they could form a beautiful friendship. Maybe they could start small by eliminating criminal organisations, bandits, pirates and criminals. But I actually think there’s one who could be an equal genius to Shen. taotie created in the series various deathly machines and weapons and I could see him actually getting recruited by Shen to work for him.
I think that tai lung will at soem point sid down, meditate and understand that becoming Chi master and unlicking his second ki is about finding who he want to be, about not only accpeting himsel but also understanding, seeing flaws, changing to better verison of someone, wiser, not onky stronger, becouse if not before, at some point of this war he will understand that it was unnecessary, that war, that all he is going to leave behind him are bodies of innocent victims, that maybe he want to be himself, not a villian, but he became one unintentionally, that finally, he do not need anyone to acknoledge him, not for his strenght and how he uses it, but he himself is everyone that needs to see and remember who he is and acknowledge it, that real strengt lies in being independent form anyone atrention and opinion, even universe itself, so he do not need to do anything as he have nothing to prove to amyone.
