this seems like delayed filler they already know the general area of where the camp is but this whole looking around for ancient symbols just seems like a way to add more drama sure you could argue that Athena is guiding Annabel but again even if that is the case and they find them what would be the benefit of doing so? it doesn't seem to make any sense. that or I'm missing something
