I think I know how there can be 2 Dumbledores. It’s the same principle how hermione and Harry traveled back in time. With a time turner. But maybe Cyrus could still savage this. Dumbledore might have anticipated his escape route but he can’t possibly know that he hides a basilisk as a trump card in his sleeve. If he could distract Dumbledore long enough to paralyse him Cyrus could use this opportunity to either kill or disarm Dumbledore and take the elder wand from him. That way he would have a clear escape route and 2/3 of the deathly hallows.
What happened to the other soul fragments from the original Voldemort. Is the Soul piece of his diary now absorbed or destroyed by Cyrus? Is Voldemort aware Cyrus was using his Horcruxes? Is Voldemort aware of anything what’s going on with his Horcruxes? Also I have to ask what happened to the original Voldemort? Is he still active even though he’s bodiless currently. Maybe Cyrus should hunt for the other Horcruxes himself before Voldemort becomes a problem.
If he could kill or paralyse Dumbledore with the basilisk he could use polyjuice potion to take the headmasters place. He could easily manipulate Hogwarts and Harry that way. He could even use Dumbledore with either legilimens, memory charms or the imperious curse to use him to get his hands on the other magical Horcruxes of who Dumbledore knows. He could also use this chance to build himself up. Cyrus should learn Wandless and Nonverbal magic since it would give him an edge in dueling. He should definitely become an animagus since I have a feeling he could become a basilisk. Cyrus could steal Snapes advanced potions book to learn it’s potions and spells he invented.
