Comments of chapter undefined of One Piece: I wield thunder and lightning

I dont know how to start this.A devil fruit user dies so no 2 people can have the same devil fruit power this is well known.So by this logic Linlin has eaten caramel and caramel should be dead altogether.she existing here makes no sense even as a power of soul fruit to preserve the soul of that person. I dont know what the author is trying to do here but this is such a big plot hole and worse would be if caramel knows how to controll linlin body and devil fruit better than linlin and somehow she joins forces with word goverment.Up until the last 2 chapters everything has been a great read. I will reserve my final decision until 2-4 more chapters to see where the author goes with this.
