I don't understand how Ginrei thinks he can manipulate Ailin in anyway. Even if Haruko returns, Ailin would not allow her to stay even if by force if necessary, as that is what it means to truly love someone. You do things for them to survive even if they don't want it. And Ailin has already stated that he cares not for the Clan at all, so if Haruko kills herself, Ailin will completely cut ties with the clan. He may still be friends with Byakuya, but I would be hard pressed to not want to destroy the Clan.
