I hate when authors nerf the mc for no apparent reason, they made a soul pact (which I'm assuming is usually supposed to be a dangerous because of the consequences) and she just walks off like nothing happened, how tf is a curse not seen as an attack? What's the whole point a soul pact if the person can just curse you to death indirectly? Sigh..... Good luck with the novel tho, sadly my journey ends here

Definition of the word Curse - a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something." You may argue that the curse is not considered an attack, but it definitely was done with the intention to harm him. In case you don't understand why people are upset. Just understand people don't like to read main characters getting nerfed in some aspect. Temporary or not. It may not be permanent, but it certainly leaves a bad taste in our mouths. I hope you have a fun writing journey but this really killed the mood to read this novel.
