one thought that came to mind while reading this was a statement I've heard before. it's 'if you're going to try to kill the king, you better kill the king.' I thought it would be particularly applicable here, as it's nox and Marcus who are the primary targets. though, 'dark valkyrie isn't really an understatement as it's more of a title, and those have a wide range of what they could mean. so, nox having that title isn't being underrepresented, it's just a title. I'm also wondering what other effects from nox addressing the council could come up. after all, not everything happens in a noticeable manner, nor as quickly as one might think. it's also nice to have a name for the mysterious figure, though I can't say what other surprises might be in store. anyway, on to the next chapter!
That's true, but Mother nature always has her share of fools, doesn't she? There has got to be the smart ones who weigh the pros and cons, and the fools who proceed regardless. Whiteshore is obviously the delusional latter. Not sure where Freya stands on this spectrum tho.
Mikaela_Risner:not what I meant about 'killing the king.' I was meaning nox and marcus as the king and her enemies as the ones trying to kill them. I fully understand nox not wanting to take on the job of being the king of the werewolves. things like that aren't for everyone. especially if you just want to live your own life and not be disturbed as much as possible. and my comment about nox's title had more to do with aylin's remark about it being an understatement. that was all.đ
