GUYS I HAD A THOUGHT. What if he's not the only inheritor of fire? now hear me out. Ayala is the false inheritor of the dark soul claiming humanity, but is the actual inheritor of the magic from the Witch of Izalith. Ayala guards the root of all magic, which is just the witch's corpse, the chaos tree. Gaia inherited life and Death from Gravelord Nito, for they are always one and the same. i would assume the inheritor for the Godking Lordreic would be whoever the Christian god is in this world or the boss of Goetia. and finally we have our Verdant Pygmy with the Dark Soul. for someone's sake please my mind is moving so fast with all the possibilities this brings.
