I like it! Though it might be good to balance out the MC's powers, like if the magic here is 50% lesser than what he's used to, maybe it's twice as easy to control, or something like that. Bc a regular Hogwarts student will be cannon fodder for a werewolf or vampire w/o some special advantage.
