I believe the blight got retconned out of existence (unofficially) when dr.manhattan erased pandora from existence and unlike metron she didn't got revived by the chronicler or his kind.

I know what you are talking about but the aagw force is a recent concept finalize in totality saga/ dark knight metals story line. Beforehand it was named or referred to as the collective unconscious

I do not know if authors knows it but sage force is not that great since it has a demon inside it capable of destroying evrything. I take it it was pandora's storyline that made it canon a boy (i forgot his name) was going to be its champion destinated to keep it closed for all eternity, (though dark knights metal totality storyline did went against the established norms, I think)
